ABOUT TEAM
The 2008 group currently have four teams playing in the Edinburgh Leagues (www.essda.co.uk). We try to place the players at the appropriate level so they can develop and enjoy themselves. Our only aim is to allow kids to enjoy playing football and taking part in sport, whatever their level, and to learn the crucial skills of teamwork and respect.
We train twice a week (but realise not all players can always make both sessions). All coaches are PVG checked and have, or will be undertaking, their SFA badges.
If you are looking to join us please get in touch by emailing here. We will do our best to accommodate any new players, whilst making sure the teams stay of an appropriate size.
We are also always on the look out for new coaches. If you are a parent of a player, or perhaps used to play and would like to help children develop, please get in touch. You can contact the 2008 coaches by emailing here.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We have a private facebook group for parents, family members and carers – please search for Currie Star 2008.
